Belle of the Ball

On Saturday of this weekend I got to be the date to the Navy Officer's Birthday Ball. It was like adult prom. My roommate kept referring it as prom. I had to get the dress, the shoes, learn how to do make-up all the same as prom. I even went with a guy I went to high school with. Outside the weddings I have been in over the years this is the most dressed up I have been since prom.

It was everything you would expect from an Officer's ball. I even got my chair pulled out for me when I sat down.

Some of the highlights had to be when I got to talk with the different admirals that were in attendance. It was definitely a night to remember. Here are some of the pictures that we took.

If you are wondering why I am in prom pictures with two different officers it is because he was short a date so I pulled double duty.
